Title III, Part A – English Language Acquisition, Language Enhancement, and Academic Achievement Act

Title III, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as reauthorized under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), aims to ensure that English learners (ELs) and immigrant students attain English proficiency and develop high levels of academic achievement in English. Title III will also assist all English learners meet the same challenging State academic standards that all children are expected to meet.
 
New resources are being developed to support ESCs and LEAs as they implement activities to support Title III.

A fully-accessible version of the Resource Tool Training Presentation may be downloaded by clicking on the green button below. This version of the training should be used to train staff when a face-to-face or virtual training is not an option, or when an accessible option is necessary. This version of the training is also appropriate for staff members to refer to when a review of the training content is needed..
